Location Preview: Lothian, Maryland

When you get a chance to try a new location, what do you do?

Grab a high school senior, her college friend, and your toddler and go location scouting during the worst possible light, knowing that any other time will be even better!

I'll be offering limited sessions here, and it's great for rainy days or cold/hot weather.  This location is in Maryland, so it's a bit of a hike from Arlington/Alexandria, but absolutely worth it!

I think it's ideal for seniors or small families due to the setup.  I can't wait to be back!

New Baby Girl

This little sweetie has fantastic parents, both as individuals and together.  It was such a joy to photograph this newly minted family of THREE.

One is Fun: A Cake Smash Session

Has it really been a year since I photographed baby E as a newborn?   We celebrated her first birthday posing her in the same vintage Radio Flyer wagon, this time with a giant pink cupcake!

A Longstanding Relationship: A Rose Garden Family Session

My first photos of this family were taken in the summer of 2015, and I'm photographed them at least twice a year ever since.  Capturing birthdays, maternity photos, and newborn photos is always special, but so are those in-between just regular family moments, which is what this session was about.  We went to the Bon Air Memorial Rose Garden, where I photographed them a couple years ago!  So much has changed - another kid being the biggest change!

Family of Four: A Rose Garden Session

I met this sweet first grader and her mom when she took ballet with my oldest.  I was instantly struck by her outgoing personality and it turns out that her whole family is pretty great!  Dad serves in the Army and they live a life of some cool adventures, and I'm thankful I got to capture them during their time here!

Family of 3: A Tween Session

I feel like so often, families get excited about family photos for little kids and individual photos for high school seniors, and those in between years can get overlooked.  I had so much fun photographing this sweet sixth grader and her parents at the Bon Air Rose Garden in Arlington.  The day was HOT and oh-so-muggy but they made it a great session!
